About the Cochrans

An entrepreneurial family.

The Cochran family in Oxford, Mississippi

We have always been an entrepreneurial family. Chris and his wife Meg are raising four kids in Oxford, Mississippi, and most nights the dinner table sounds like a working session.

We live in small business. We live in local. The shop on the square, the service that shows up when it says it will, the practice that actually helps. That is the world Cochran Ventures is built around.

Every venture here is a family bet. Meg runs her own pelvic floor practice. Chris builds and runs the rest. The kids are growing up watching what it looks like to make something from nothing, ship it, and stand behind it.

Chris sets the direction, builds the new companies, and runs the portfolio day to day, alongside the partners and operators who run each business. The approach is lean and fast, with modern tools doing a lot of the heavy lifting, so a focused group can build and run more than its size suggests.
